All projects of the Africa Humanists are based on the ideas of self-sustainability, self-reliance, non-violence and reciprocity. We do not depend on grants or donations from foundations or NGOs. Each project aims at promoting sustainability instead of dependency. 

Good Shepherd School - Mukono, Uganda

 

The Good Shepherd School in Mukono, Uganda. is run by HIV positive teachers.

Sanyu Babies Home for Abandoned Babies, Uganda



Is supported by Humanist University students.They visit the babies and give much needed personal contact, holding, talking, singing, reading,and playing. We also donated supplies and medicine to the home. Currently there are 39 children under 4 years old living there.

Kiringente Book Project, Uganda

This school received new textbooks thanks to efforts of California Humanists.

Jitegemee Huruma Youth Group,  Kenya

As our motto states "Harambee" which means working together in harmony for betterment of all.  Our Vision is to assist Huruma youths in the achievement of social and economic equality. To be self reliant economically and good citizens. To assist the less fortunate in the society.

We take these wonderful Medical Books published by the Hesperian Foundation to places where people and women do not have access to doctors.
